The Auburn transfer arrives with three years of eligibility
CHICAGO – DePaul softball head coach Liz Bouck-Jagielski announced the signing of outfielder Jolie Adams on Tuesday morning. Adams arrives in Chicago after one season at Auburn and joins the Blue Demons with three seasons of eligibility remaining.
"Jolie is a force, a true five-tool athlete who can hit, play multiple positions and combine speed with power," said Bouck-Jagielski.
"She has proven herself at the highest levels and we are thrilled to welcome her back to Chicago, where she can compete in front of her family and friends while helping DePaul return to the national stage. Jolie believes in our vision and she is the type of player who will make an immediate impact on our program."
At Auburn, Adams made one appearance as a pinch-hitter on February 8, one of just two freshmen to see action on the squad.
A native of Schererville, Indiana, Adams was ranked as the No. 13 recruit in the country by MaxPreps coming out of high school. While at Lake Central, she was a 2024 All-Star North/South game participant and DAC All-Conference Team selection. She held a .444 batting average and added more than 100 career hits. As a freshman, she earned Rookie of the Year recognition and helped her team to the Indiana State Championship.
"I am coming home to play college softball for the coach who helped shape me and I could not be more grateful for the full circle," Adams said.
Adams intends to major in psychology with a concentration in human development.
