Women’s Soccer Honored for Nationally Ranked GPA

BIG EAST Conference and United Soccer Coaches announce 2024-25 academic honors
CHICAGO – DePaul women's soccer collected two major academic awards for exceptional performance in the classroom during the 2024-25 academic year.
The Blue Demons earned the United Soccer Coaches (USC) College Team Academic Award after posting a 3.81 team grade-point average, ranking 12th nationally among women's soccer programs. Emerson College, Memphis, Missouri, Rockhurst, and Johns Hopkins rounded out the top five GPAs in the country. In total, 446 women's teams and 307 men's teams nationwide recorded at least a 3.0 GPA to receive the USC honor.
DePaul also claimed the BIG EAST Team Academic Excellence Award for women's soccer, given to the program with the highest GPA in the conference for its sport. Women's soccer was one of three DePaul programs recognized, joining women's cross country and softball. Seven BIG EAST schools had at least one team honored, with DePaul among five institutions earning multiple awards.
The BIG EAST Team Academic Excellence Award winners are determined by the cumulative GPA of all student-athletes listed on the sport's roster at the conclusion of its championship segment.
