Golf Earns GCAA Team Academic Award

NORMAN, Okla. – Following an outstanding year in the classroom, DePaul men's golf was awarded with the 2024-25 Platform Golf Team Academic Award by the Golf Coaches Association of America, as announced Tuesday afternoon.
DePaul received the Presidents Special Recognition, making the Blue Demons one of 75 Division I teams in the country to have a team grade point average above a 3.5. The team posted a 3.641 grade-point average, marking the program's highest since 2014-15.
A record 292 schools across six different divisions earned Platform Golf Team Academic Award with 129 schools receiving the Presidents Special Recognition. Harvard received the Division I award for the highest grade-point average with a team GPA of 3.955.
