DePaul Softball Earns Fourth-Highest Division I GPA

19 Blue Demons record NFCA Scholar-Athlete recognition
CHICAGO – DePaul softball recorded the fourth-highest GPA in Division I softball for the 2024-25 school year, as announced by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) on Thursday afternoon. The Blue Demons recorded a 3.783 cumulative GPA, good for fourth in the nation.
19 student-athletes also captured Easton/NFCA Scholar-Athlete honors, for maintaining a 3.50 GPA or higher across the academic year. The 2024-25 honorees include Carly Alvers, Kelly Beaupre, Kali Blount, Addi Burdick, Baylee Cosgrove, Brooke Cwick, Kelly Greene, Ava Gusel, Alexis Houge, Zoe Levine, Hannah Messer, Bella Nigey, Chelsea Parker, Katey Pierce, Bibianna Rodriguez, Morgan Rogers, Addison Talbot, Madelyn Wilson and Maya Wondaal.
"DePaul softball student-athletes exemplify the spirit of hard work and dedication, achieving an astounding GPA that ranks fourth in the nation while competing fiercely on the field," said head coach Liz Bouck-Jagielski.
"This remarkable balance showcases DePaul's commitment to cultivating strong female leaders, all of whom are ready to excel in the workforce and inspire the next generation."
