Keagan Pace Selected to BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

Junior forward scored twice in a 1-0-1 week for DePaul
CHICAGO – DePaul junior forward Keagan Pace was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll the conference announced on Tuesday afternoon. Pace powered the Blue Demons to a 1-0-1 week in which he scored a goal in each contest, pushing his season total to three through four matches.
In a 2-1 win over Chicago State, Pace put the Blue Demons in front from the onset with a strike on the run in the ninth minute after beautiful service from Ryan Thomas down the left side of the field. In Sunday's 1-1 draw with St. Thomas, Pace provided the equalizer in the 58th minute by way of a second effort on a ball headed across the goal line from Christian Baumgartner.
The Greer, S.C. native has scored in three-consecutive matches and his three goals this season is tied for second-most in the BIG EAST. Pace leads DePaul in shots (12) as well as shots on goal (6).
DePaul welcomes a pair of local foes to Wish Field in the coming week beginning with UIC on Thursday, Sept. 4 at Wish Field. Coverage on Marquee Sports Network begins at 4 p.m.
