Ahead of Saturday's contest, DePaul joins the BIG EAST in hosting the BIG EAST Road Trip presented by AlumniFi. The event takes place 1:30-3:30 p.m. inside the Marriott Marquis Chicago.
LAST TIME OUT
Layden Blocker led DePaul (11-8, 3-5 BIG EAST) with a season-high 20 points on the road against Butler. Despite a late push against the Bulldogs, the Blue Demons fell 87-80. CJ Gunn added 16 points and four steals, while Théo Pierre-Justin knocked down four three-pointers to finish with 12 points.
The Blue Demons offense continues to find its rhythm, posting back-to-back 80-point performances for the first time in BIG EAST play this season. The Blue Demons connected on 11 and 10 three-pointers in those contests against Marquette and Butler, respectively. Defensively, DePaul ranks among the top five in the BIG EAST in several categories, including scoring defense, turnovers forced and field goal percentage defense.

SCOUTING SETON HALL
Seton Hall (14-5, 4-4 BIG EAST) looks to snap a three-game skid Saturday. The Pirates went toe-to-toe on the road with St. John's before coming up short in a 65-60 loss Tuesday. Stephon Payne posted a double-double with 15 rebounds and 13 points, while Seton Hall held the Johnnies to a near-season low 65 points. The Pirates have limited 14 of their 19 opponents to under 70 points this season.
