Demon Doings
The Blue Demons are 4-17 this season and 1-9 in BIG EAST action after dropping a 73-67 decision at Butler on Wednesday. Against the Bulldogs, DePaul fell behind after a quarter and couldn't claw back despite four players finishing in double-figures for the second-straight game. The Blue Demons were led by 12 points apiece from Michelle Ojo and Ally Timm while Alayna Wes and Kate Novik added 11 and 10 points, respectively.
As a team, DePaul handled the ball well committing a season-low nine turnovers while dishing out 18 assists. It was the free throw disparity that was the difference for Butler, who shot 25-for-29 from the charity stripe.
For the season, Kate Novik leads DePaul in a multitude of categories with 11.9 points , 6.3 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game. Ojo is averaging 13.6 points per game in DePaul's last three games while shooting 62-percent from the field in that span.
The Blue Demons rank second in the conference with 13.9 offensive rebounds per game and also force 19.0 turnovers per contest, the second-most in the BIG EAST.
