Kate Novik Collects Third BIG EAST Honor Roll Nod

CHICAGO – DePaul's Kate Novik earned her third BIG EAST Honor Roll certificate of the season Monday afternoon after leading the Blue Demons across the board last week.

Novik averaged 19.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 2.5 steals per game in contests against Providence and Xavier. She poured in a season-high 23 points to go along with five rebounds and five assists while shooting 57 percent from the field against the Friars. In a 76-67 win over Xavier, she added a team-high 16 points along with nine rebounds, five assists and four steals.

The Grodno, Belarus native surpassed 1,000 career points Sunday against the Musketeers.

For the season, Novik leads the Blue Demons with averages of 12.2 points, 6.5 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game.

DePaul returns to Wintrust Arena Wednesday, Feb. 25 to host Butler at 6 p.m. CT on ESPN+. The Blue Demons will honor seniors Meg Newman, Justis Odom and Michelle Ojo in a pregame ceremony.
