Started all 52 games for the Blue Demons at shortstop
Earned a .301 batting average, good for fifth on the squad, including 46 hits and 45 runs
Led the team with 12 stolen bases on 13 attempts
Notched a .954 fielding percentage with 82 putouts and 84 assists
Registered ten multi-hit games, including four hits in a victory over Tulsa (March 4)
Concluded her tenure as DePaul's hit by pitch leader, having been hit 31 times across her career

2021 (Senior)

Started in all 36 games for the Blue Demons at shortstop
Totaled 27 hits in 106 for a .255 average
Ranked fourth on the team with 18 RBI on six extra-base hits including three home runs
Recorded 46 putouts in the six-hole with 82 assists
Crossed the plate on 20 occasions and drew six walks and was hit by pitch a team-high eight times
Powered DePaul past Connecticut 5-1 on April 2 with four RBI herself on a double and two-run homer
Went 2-for-2 with three-RBI on March 13 in an 8-0 six-inning victory at St. John’s
Had a three-RBI outing with a pair of base hits in a 4-1 win over Bradley (March 8)

2020 (Junior)

Started all 20 games of her junior season before the remainder of the season was canceled due to COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic.
Tallied 18 hits, third-most on the squad in 54 at bats, with five doubles and a sole triple against IUPUI (3/6).
Went 12 straight games with a hit (2/14-3/6).
Launched three home runs two games in a row, against Hampton (2/16) and Georgia Tech (2/21) and another against Western Illinois (3/6).
Was walked a team-high 10 times.
Posted a squad-high .630 slugging percentage.
Crossed the plate 19 times while batting in 10 runs.
Recorded a game-high two RBI on three occasions.
Was a perfect 6-6 in stolen bases to post a team-high .463 on base percentage.
Assisted in three double plays.

2019 (Sophomore)

Started in all 51 games.
Led the team in runs with 40.
Finished in a three-way tie for home runs on the season with nine.
Hit a triple in DePaul's 5-4 win over Green Bay on Feb. 8.
Hit the team's first home run of the 2019 season in a 10-1 win over Green Bay on Feb. 9.
Tallied her season high four hits and three runs in a 7-5 win over Villanova on May 4.
Launched home runs in four straight games from April 6-14.
Named BIG EAST Player of the Week one time.
Named 2019 BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Year.
Named to the 2019 All-BIG EAST First Team.

2018 (Freshman)

High School

Earned four varsity letters at Brea Olinda High School under coach Jordan Learn.
Also played volleyball at Brea Olinda.
Named Team MVP.
Tabbed with a First Team All-League selection and Second Team All-League selections.
Named Defensive Player of the Year.
Tabbed as a four-time Scholar athlete.
Played for the OC Batbusters club team under David Lastrapes.
Won the USSSA ELITE Select World Fastpitch championship.

Personal

Daughter of Marcus Gutierrez, Jr. and Kathie Salas.
Has one brother, Marcus III, and two sisters, Michelle and Martina.
Grandfather Marcus Sr. played collegiate football and baseball at Harbor College.
Majoring in education.
