Career

Transferred to DePaul in May 2020 after playing first two seasons at NCAA Division II Lincoln Memorial (Tenn.).
In 62 career games at Lincoln Memorial, McCauley totaled 946 points for a two-season average of 15.3 points per game. He knocked down 161 three-pointers while shooting .412 from behind the arc and averaged 5.1 rebounds per game.

2021-22

Ranked among BIG EAST leaders for all games in assist-to-turnover ratio (2nd – 2.3)... also ranked among league leaders in conference games only in assist-to-turnover ratio (3rd – 2.8).

2019-20 (Lincoln Memorial)

Ranked among the nation's top players as he earned NABC Division II All-American honors and was on the Bevo Francis Top 25 Watch List for the national player of the year... other honors following the sophomore campaign included Division II Bulletin All-American First Team, NABC Division II All-Southeast District First Team, D2CCA Southeast All-Region First Team, South Atlantic Conference Player of the Year, All-South Atlantic Conference First Team and South Atlantic Conference All-Tournament Team.
Led the Railsplitters to a 32-1 record last season that ended with a 32-game winning streak and perfect 22-0 record in the South Atlantic Conference... the lone loss for Lincoln Memorial – who finished the season ranked No. 2 in the nation – was in the opener against No. 7/5 West Texas A&M in overtime.
Averaged 20.0 points and 6.3 rebounds while shooting .436 (103-236) from three-point range and .497 (236-475) overall from the field... totaled 30 games in double figures that included 17 games of at least 20 points with a season high of 44 points against Lenoir-Rhyne in December.

2018-19 (Lincoln Memorial)

Named to the South Atlantic Conference All-Freshman Team after averaging 9.8 points per game in 20.4 minutes per game.
Played in all 29 games with seven starts and finished the season with 14 games in double figures including two 20-point games.
