Abbie Gallant serves as a Communications Graduate Assistant for DePaul Athletics, supporting media relations, digital content and coverage for Blue Demon athletics. She is the primary communications contact for the women’s soccer, women’s tennis and softball programs.
Before moving to Chicago, Gallant compiled media and athletic communications experience during her undergraduate years at Creighton University. While in Omaha, she covered Bluejay athletics as a sports information assistant and feature writer in the Creighton Athletics Department. She also led The Creightonian student newspaper as Sports Editor and Editor-in-Chief. Her background includes beat reporting and travel for NCAA Tournament runs for men’s and women’s basketball, and men’s soccer, as well as public relations work for Humane World for Animals, a national non-profit.
Gallant earned her bachelor’s degree in Journalism — Public Relations and News — and Spanish from Creighton in 2026. She is currently pursuing her master's degree in Sports Journalism at DePaul.
