Blue Demon Softball Opens WIth Two WIns

BATON ROUGE, La. -- The 2002 softball season got off to a strong start on Friday as the Blue Demons won a pair of games.

In the season opener, DePaul stopped Northwest Louisiana 3-0 and followed that game with an 8-4 victory over the host school LSU.

The tournament runs through Sunday.
