Golf Leads Blue Demon Invitational After Two Rounds

WEST CHICAGO, Ill. – DePaul as a team is in first place and both Joe Hermes and Scott Yopchick are in the top 10 after the first day of play at the Blue Demon Invitational at Prairie Landing Golf Club.

The Blue Demons carded a two-round total of 602, four shots ahead of second place Memphis.

Individually, Hermes posted a two-round total of 148 (76-72) and is in a tie for fourth place three shots off the pace. Yopchick finished the day one shot behind Hermes with rounds of 72-77 and is tied for sixth. Patterson shot 75-76 to earn a tie for 10^th place at 151.

The tournament concludes tomorrow with the final 18 holes starting at 7:30 a.m.
