Quotes
“Keith Triplett took care of us physically and mentally today. We backed down for the first time in a long time and we didn’t stand up for ourselves.”
“For two games now teams have found life to be easy. They have been able to gain confidence, make free throws, and get rebounds. It’s becoming an inconsistent problem that needs to change.”
“We do not have a fist-waving guy that will not accept less than anyone’s best. We need to find way to circumvent that.”
Drake Diener
“I never really got open looks in the second half. They had a solid defense and you can’t run a lazy offense in order to win. Our practices have been solid but today our offense wasn’t.”
Quemont Greer
“We need to give it our all and go play. When one isn’t playing well, we need to have another teammate step up. Toledo played good defense, but we were doing all types of things that we weren’t supposed to be. We weren’t running hard off of screens or moving quickly. As a team we just weren’t cliquing.”
