Game Times Announced for NCAA First Round

CHICAGO – The start of DePaul’s first-round game against Utah is set for 12:18 p.m. EST it was announced by the NCAA on Monday. The ninth-seeded Blue Demons and No. 8 seed Utes will be the first of two games at Reynolds Coliseum. DePaul’s game can be seen live on ESPN2.
The Blue Demons return to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since making seven appearances in the 1990’s. Overall, the program has played 10 games in their seven trips with a 3-7 record. With the three wins, DePaul has reached the second round three times, but have never advanced to the round of 16.
A win on Sunday would move the Blue Demons into the second round for the fourth time. The winner of the Utah-DePaul matchup would face either No. 1 seed Duke or 16th-seeded Georgia State on Tuesday.
The Blue Demons are one of five Conference USA teams to receive NCAA bids. Joining DePaul in the 64-team field were Charlotte, Cincinnati, Tulane and TCU.
