Davidson Wins C-USA Men's Tennis Sportsmanship Award

CHICAGOÂ - DePaul's Sam Davidson was one of several participants in men's tennis that were awarded the Conference USA Sportsmanship Award, it was announced by the league today.
Davidson is a junior from Kansas City, Mo., who was 19-10 in singles play (12-4 at No. 4). He also teamed with third team All-C-USA selection Mark Henderson to post a 14-6 record at No. 1 doubles. DePaul as a team finished 13-13 overall and 3-1 in C-USA action.
C-USA sponsors a sportsmanship award in all sports. This award is meant for student-athletes, coaches or teams that perform an individual act of sporting behavior or generally conduct themselves with a high degree of good sportsmanship. Individuals and teams can be nominated by any staff member of a C-USA institution or by the conference office.
