DePaul Announces 2006 Men's Golf Fall Schedule

CHICAGO- DePaul men’s golf coach Betty Kaufmann announced the 2006 fall schedule for the program’s second season as a member of the BIG EAST Conference.  The Blue Demons host the annual John Dallio Memorial Tournament in September and play at events in Ohio, Indiana, Washington, D.C., and Florida.

The season kicks off at the Cleveland State Invitational September 11-12 at the Sand Ridge Golf Club in Cleveland, Ohio.  Closing the month is DePaul’s annual John Dallio Memorial Tournament at Prairie Landing Golf Club in West Chicago the 25^th-26^th.

DePaul opens October at Ball State’s Earl Yestingsmeier Invitational, which runs the 9^th-10^th at the Delaware Country Club in Indianapolis, Indiana.  The month also takes the Blue Demons to Washington, D.C. the 20^th-22^nd for the Georgetown Invitational.

The fall wraps up with the BIG EAST-MAC Challenge at the Orange County National Golf Center in Orlando, Florida.  The tournament runs November 5-6 and brings together squads from the BIG EAST Conference and Midwest Athletic Conference.

The Blue Demons closed the 2005-06 season by finishing eighth in their inaugural BIG EAST Conference Championship appearance in April.
