Linda Secka led the Blue Demons in the second day of competition as she knocked four of DePaul's 10 hits. She was also credited with DePaul's only RBI in the first game as she completed a 3-for-3 effort against Huskers.

Stephanie Blagaich (0-1) took the loss for Blue Demons against the Huskers. She surrendered five hits while striking out two and walking five
Heteniak (0-1) surrendered three hits while striking out seven UH batters in four innings of work. Tracie Adix entered the game in the six frame and gave up no hits in the final two innings.

The Huskers (3-1) took a 1-0 lead in the top of the second and added four more runs in the third inning. Haley Long connected on a three-RBI double to left center to clear the bases for
Linda Secka's RBI gave the Blue Demons' offense a push as her single to right field plated Blagaich -- who was pinch running for freshman Marie Thompson, who was hit by a pitch.
Secka was perfect at the plate against the Huskers, going 3-for-3 while Kate Sheaks, Jessica Evans and Annie Demas were credited with DePaul's other three hits.
Ashley DeBuhr gave up six hits and struck out seven DePaul batters to earn her second win of the season.
The Blue Demons out hit their opponent for the second time on Friday, but
Tanisha Milca drew a two-out walk from DePaul pitcher Becca Heteniak to set up the games only run. Following the walk, UH's Kaulana Gould singled to center to score Milca, who was already running on contact with two outs.
The Blue Demons had a chance to even the score in the fourth frame, but were unable to push a run across as they left three runners on base. Freshmen Marie Thompson and Heteniak each singled in the inning, but three fielders choices doomed DePaul and left them scoreless.
The pitching duo of Heteniak (0-1) and Adix struck out a season-high 12 batters. Heteniak got the start and surrendered three hits while striking out seven UH batters in four innings of work. Adix threw the final two innings and struck out five.
Kate Robinson (1-0) threw a complete game shutout for UH (4-0). She spaced four hits, struck out four and walked none.
