Men's Tennis Hosts Western Michigan

CHICAGO - The No. 64 DePaul men's tennis team puts its perfect 6-0 record at the Lakeshore Athletic Club on the line when it hosts Western Michigan on Saturday at 3 p.m.
The Blue Demons and Broncos met during the fall season with Western Michigan holding 4-8 mark in singles action while DePaul was 6-2 in doubles matches.
The Blue Demons are ranked No. 64 in this week's Campbell's/ITA Team rankings and are 9-2 in duals this season. DePaul has won seven of its last eight duals including two wins over ranked teams. DePaul is led by its upperclassmen in seniors -- Bartosz Jozwiak and Ben Hartman and juniors -- Matija Palinic and George Chanturia.
All four upperclassman have posted double-digit singles wins while Jozwiak leads the squad with a 16-7 mark. The senior has won his last four matches while he is 9-2 in duals and boasts a 6-1record in the No. 4 position. Hartman follows with 14 wins; Chanturia has 13 and Palinic rounds out the group with 12.
In doubles action, Palinic and Chanturia have won their last two matches. The duo is 12-5 on the year while it has posted a 6-3 record in the second position.
Following Saturday's dual, the Blue Demons head to the HEB Invitational in Corpus Christi, Texas, March 4-5.
