Blue Demons Conclude First Day at Wexford

HILTON HEAD, S.C. - Russell Budd led DePaul through the first two rounds on Monday at the Wexford Plantation Intercollegiate and is tied for 38th place. The Blue Demons sit in a tie for 15th place following 36 holes with the final round scheduled for Tuesday morning.
Budd shot a 75 in the morning round followed by an 80 over the afternoon's 18 holes. His total of 155 puts him at 11-over par. Moritz Ackerhans follows Budd in a group in 51st with a 13-over total of 157 following rounds of 83 and 74.
Ben Westley and John Pavelko are in a group in 71st place after posting totals of 161 through Monday's action. Westley carded rounds of 83 and 78 while Pavelko shot an 82 and 79 over his two rounds. Jan Juelicher finished his day with rounds of 85 and 78 for a Monday total of 163.
Georgia State leads the 17-team field with a team score of 591 (+15) after two rounds. Georgia State's Damon Stephenson leads the individual field and is the only player under par at one-under (143) after Monday's action.
The third and final round of the Wexford Plantation Intercollegiate is scheduled for an 8:30 a.m. ET start on Tuesday morning.
