JONESBORO, Ark. - With all three rounds complete at the ASU Red Wolf Intercollegiate, DePaul's Jan Juelicher and Mortiz Ackerhans both concluded the final day in the top 20.
Juelicher entered Tuesday's final 18 holes in a tie for eighth place. After posting a 72 in the final round, the freshman finished just outside the top 10 and led all Blue Demons at one-over. Entering Tuesday in a tie for 44th place, the sophomore Ackerhans finished in a tie for 19th after posting a team-best 69 in the final round to finish four-over.
Senior Ben Westley and junior Russell Budd both earned a final round scores of 76, finishing the ASU Intercollegiate in 61st and 88th, respectively. After collecting a round-high 88 yesterday, junior Brad Stephens rebounded to post a 78 on Tuesday to round out the DePaul scoring.
DePaul, who entered the day in a tie for 10th place as a team, took sole possession of the 10 spot with a team total of 883, just one stroke behind ninth-place Eastern Illinois.
Arkansas-Little Rock took home the top spot at the ASU Intercollegiate as it registered the only under-par team score (four-under). Arkansas-Little Rock was followed closely by Austin Peay in second (five-over) and Vanderbilt in third (12-over).
The Blue Demons take just over two weeks off before returning to competition. DePaul next competes at Earl Yestingsmeier Invitational in Muncie, Ind. on April 21-22.
