Catch Doug Bruno Talking Olympics on WBEZ 91.5 Monday

CHICAGO -- DePaul head women's basketball coach Doug Bruno will be a guest on the "Afternoon Shift" on Chicago Public Radio - WBEZ 91.5 today at 3:30 p.m.
Bruno will join radio veteran Steve Edwards on Monday afternoon to talk about his upcoming trip to the London Olympics.
Bruno heads to the Olympics as an assistant coach for the United States Women's National Team alongside head coach Geno Auriemma (University of Connecticut) and fellow assistant coaches Jennifer Gillom (Washington Mystics) and Marynell Meadors (Atlanta Dream).
The women's national team opens up the 2012 Olympic Games preliminary round on July 28 against Croatia. It follows with a July 30 matchup versus Angola and an August 1 test against Turkey. The squad has one day off before returning to the court for an August 3 contest against the Czech Republic and it concludes the preliminary round on August 5 against China.
Bruno also served as an assistant coach for the 2010 USA World Championship Team where he helped the American women earn a 9-0 record, the gold medal and a berth to the 2012 Olympic Games.
