DePaul's Game at Illinois Cancelled by Inclement Weather

CHICAGO - Stormy weather forced the cancellation of DePaul's softball game Wednesday against Illinois scheduled for 4 p.m. in Champaign.
This is the second game of the season that has been called off because of poor weather conditions. A week ago on Wednesday, steady rainfall halted the Blue Demons' showdown at Illinois-Chicago.
DePaul (23-14, 10-1 in the BIG EAST Conference) will now turn its full attention to a critical three-game, BIG EAST series against No. 24/24 USF (35-12, 13-1) this weekend at Cacciatore Stadium.
USF leads the league while DePaul, Louisville and Notre Dame are all tied for second place. Saturday's doubleheader against USF begins at noon while Sunday's single game is set for 11 a.m.
