LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The DePaul men's tennis team wrapped up its stay at the Louisville Classic on Sunday afternoon with a pair of tournament championships and a consolation win.
Nathan de Veer defeated teammate Kyle Johnson in the championship match of the Flight A singles draw, winning the match 2-6, 6-4, 6-0. In the Flight B title match, Tim Corwin beat West Alabama's Romar Hernandez in two sets, 7-6 (7-0), 6-1.
Finally, Johnson and Sten Leusink won the consolation title in the Flight A doubles draw, beating SIU-Edwardsville's Washuta and Vincent, 8-3.
The Louisville Classic was DePaul's final tournament of the fall.
