LEMONT, Ill. - DePaul moved up two spots from fourth to second in the third round of the John Dallio Memorial on Sunday. IUPUI claimed the team title by just a single shot over the Blue Demons. Jonathan Hewett and Freddy Thomas both finished in the top 10.

Hewett fired an even-par 72 on Sunday to finish in a tie for third place. His tournament score of 221 (+5) tied him with IUPUI's Austin Winings. The tie for third matched his career-best finish that he also recorded earlier this season at the D.A. Weibring Intercollegiate.

Thomas' sixth-place tie saw him finish with Gene Kiela III of Green Bay. After a 77 in the first round, Thomas posted back-to-back rounds of 73 and 73 to finish at 223 (+7) for the tournament.

Adrian Halimi shot a one-under 71 on Sunday to finish in a tie for 16th while James Lelliott finished in a tie for 18th place. Halimi finished the tournament with a score of 230 (+14) followed by Lelliott at 231 (+15). Jan Juelicher completed team play for the Blue Demons in a tie for 55th place after totaling a score of 247 (+31).

Bobby Thomas, Jonathan Goldstein, Kyle Vincze and Paul Tardella each finished tournament play as individuals. Thomas finished with a 75 on Sunday and his score of 230 (+14) put him in the group in 16th place. Goldstein was tied for 27th, Vincze tied for 53rd and Tardella finished in 69th place.

Columbia's Brandon Jowers won medalist honors by 10 shots and finished his tournament with a score of 208 (-8). IUPUI's Jose Pablo Segurola was second at 218 (+2) followed by Hewett and Winings.

IUPUI won the team title for the second straight year. The Jaguars posted a team score of 904 (+40) for the tournament. The Blue Demons recorded the best team round score of the entire tournament at 292, but it wasn't enough to overcome IUPUI. DePaul finished with a team total of 905 (+41) and was followed by third-place Green Bay at 909 (+45).

DePaul concludes the fall portion of the 2014-15 schedule on Oct. 20-21 at the Georgetown Intercollegiate. The event hosted by the Hoyas takes place at the Members Club at Four Streams in Beallsville, Md.
