Johnson Falls Just Short in Flight C Finals

Final Results
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- DePaul junior Kyle Johnson fell just short of a Flight C singles championship on Sunday morning at the Purdue Invitational in West Lafayette, Ind.
Johnson dropped a 6-2, 6-4 decision to Valparaiso's Charlie Emhardt.
Johnson finished the tournament with a 3-1 overall record. He defeated BIG EAST opponents from both Marquette and Butler en route to his second place finish.
The Purdue Invitational was the first competition of the year for the DePaul men's tennis team. The Blue Demons will next be in action at the ITA Midwest Regional in October.
