Blue Demon Trio Wraps Up CSU Cougar Classic

CHICAGO - The DePaul contingent at the CSU Cougar Classic completed play on Tuesday with Jonathan Goldstein finishing in a tie for 18th to lead the Blue Demon individuals playing at Harborside International.
Goldstein fired a three-over 75 in Tuesday's second round after opening the tournament with an 80 on Monday. He finished in a group with three other competitors in 18th place with a tournament total of 155 (+11).
Kyle Vincze posted a second-round score of 83 following a 79 in the first round. His two-round total of 162 (+18) put him in a tie for 32nd place. Paul Tardella carded a 92 on Tuesday after posting a score of 83 in Monday's first round.
A pair of Valparaiso golfers took the top two spots on the individual leaderboard. Zach Cutler finished the tournament with an even-par total of 144 followed by Nick Seitz who was one shot behind in second place.
Up next for the Blue Demons is the Cardinal Invitational on Sept. 29-30 hosted by the University of Louisville. The Blue Demons then host the John Dallio Memorial at Ruffled Feathers GC on Oct. 4-5.
