Men's Tennis Squares Off Against Chicago, IUPUI This Weekend

CHICAGO -- Fresh off a 6-1 victory over UIC last Saturday, the DePaul men's tennis team will host two opponents this weekend at Lakeshore Sport and Fitness.
Friday's match, beginning at 7:15 p.m., features the Blue Demons against the University of Chicago. The weekend will concluded with a 2:15 p.m. match between DePaul and IUPUI on Sunday afternoon.
The Blue Demons won 5-of-6 singles matches against UIC last week to secure their first victory of the season. Matches were won by Sten Leusink, Nathan de Veer, Kyle Johnson, David Vieyra and Alex Galoustian.
In addition, DePaul won two doubles matches to lock down the contest's opening point. Johnson and Leusink, the nation's 56th-ranked doubles pair, earned their first victory of the season.
With two wins this weekend, DePaul will start the year 3-0 for the first time since 2010.
