DePaul Softball's Game at Notre Dame Cancelled

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Inclement weather in the South Bend area has cancelled the non-conference matchup between the DePaul softball team and Notre Dame on Tuesday.
The Blue Demons (17-21, 8-3 BIG EAST) wrapped up a busy week at home last week when they hosted five games at Cacciatore Stadium.
DePaul grabbed wins against Loyola (April 16) and Creighton (April 19) in the longest homestretch of the season.
Mary Connolly was a force to be reckoned with on the mound as the senior hurled three complete games with a 2.20 ERA and totaled 25 strikeouts.
At the plate, the Blue Demons were led by Kali Gardner and Ali Lenti who each touted a .364 batting average. Gardner blasted two homers, while Lenti got on base at a .417 clip.
DePaul returns to the diamond this weekend when it travels to BIG EAST foe Villanova for a three-game series, April 25-26.
