Softball's Second Game Versus Louisville Cancelled

CHICAGO - The DePaul softball team has announced that the second game of the double-header against Louisville has been cancelled for this evening. The two teams are still slated for a single game, beginning at 3 p.m. at Cacciatore Stadium.

The Blue Demons enter the contest on the six-game winning streak and have scored at least seven runs in four of their past five games.

DePaul picked up a 7-6 victory over Illinois State yesterday following a two-out RBI single by Nicole Pihl in the bottom of the seventh inning. Mary Connolly shouldered the load offensively with a 3-for-3 performance and threw a complete game on the mound.
