Golf Set for Georgetown Intercollegiate

CHICAGO- DePaul's golf team heads east for the Georgetown Intercollegiate, Oct. 17-18. The Blue Demons are part of a 12 team field which will play a three round, two day event at the Members Club at Four Streams in Beallsville, Md.
Monday features a shot-gun start at 8 a.m. followed by 36 holes of play. Tuesday's final round is slated to begin at 8 a.m.
Host Georgetown welcomes DePaul, Eastern Michigan, Florida Atlantic, Navy, Notre Dame, Princeton, Rhode Island, St. Joseph's, Temple, Towson, and William and Mary for the 32nd annual Georgetown Intercollegiate.
The Members Club at Four Streams presents a par-71 layout over 7,102 yards in Beallsville, Md.
DePaul's lineup for the event includes Freddy and Bobby Thomas, James Lelliott, Jonathan Hewett, and Kyle Vincze. Charlie Spencer-White will compete as an individual.
There is no live scoring for this tournament.
The Blue Demons return to action following a valiant performance against a highly-competitive field at the David Toms Intercollegiate in Baton Rouge, La. which saw DePaul finish tied for 10th. James Lelliott and Freddy Thomas led the way for DePaul in a tie for 26th.
Following the Georgetown Intercollegiate, the Blue Demons will close the fall slate with a trip to Mobile Ala. for the David Miller Collegiate on Oct. 29-30.
