HILTON HEAD, S.C. -- James Lelliott is tied for 24th and led DePaul during day one of the Wexford Plantation Intercollegiate on Monday. The Blue Demons are in 16th place after two rounds.
Lelliott finished Monday's rounds, three over. The junior went two-under in the first round -- carding four birdies which included three on the back nine. In the second round, Lelliott again was successful on the back nine with birdies on the 14th and 16th; however double-bogeys on the second and ninth holes had the Worthing, England native finish the day three over and in a four-way tie for 24th.
Adrian Halimi went nine-over and is tied for 58th. He fired rounds of 76 (+4) and 77 (+5). Freddy Thomas and Charlie Spencer-White are in a group tied for 68 and are both 11-over after two rounds. Jonathan Hewett is tied for 74th and is 12-over.
Jonathan Goldstein, who is playing as an individual, is tie for 43rd. He carded rounds of 79 (+7) and finished the second round even par (72) for a combined score of 151.
Campbell leads the 17-team field and combined to go eight-under (568). South Carolina -- Aiken is eight strokes behind the team leaders and combined to shoot a 576 and is in second place.
DePaul combined to shoot a 610 and are three strokes behind Austin Peay (607).
Tuesday's final round starts at 8 a.m. with the Blue Demons starting on holes 16, 17 and 18.
