Final Results
HILTON HEAD, S.C. - DePaul junior James Lelliott placed 33rd at the Wexford Plantation Intercollegiate on Tuesday. The Blue Demon fired a four-over 76 in Tuesday's final round and finished seven-over for the tournament.
Lelliott carded eight birdies during the three-round tournament which included four in Monday's first round.
Freddy Thomas recorded DePaul's low-round on Tuesday. The sophomore fired a three-over 75 which included a trio of birdies. Thomas finished in a six-way tie for 56th and was 14-over for the tournament.
Adrian Halimi and Jonathan Goldstein were one-stroke behind Thomas and were in a group tied for 62th. Halimi recorded a 78 (+6) during Tuesday's final round. Goldstein, who was playing as an individual, struggled in the final round. After carding rounds of 79 (+7) and 72 (E) on Monday, Goldstein recorded fired an eight-over 80 to finish the tournament.
Jonathan Hewett and Charlie Spencer-White finished in a group tied for 73rd. Both were 17-over for the tournament. Hewett shot a 77 and Spencer-White carded a 78 on Tuesday.
DePaul finished in 16th place and combined for a 916 (+52) for the tournament. Campbell (847) captured the team title while No. 44 Louisville and No. 15 South Carolina-Aiken finished second and third respectively.
The Blue Demons return to the course Feb. 28-Mar. 1 at the Loyola Intercollegiate. The three-day, three-round tournament will be played at Palm Valley Golf Club in Goodyear, Ariz.
