No. 19/18 DePaul Pursues 11th Win in a Row

CHICAGO - Get ready for a highly entertaining, old-fashioned shootout in Lincoln Park Saturday night when No. 19/18 DePaul and Marquette collide in a showdown of the BIG EAST's most explosive offenses.
The Blue Demons (16-4, 8-0) look to extend their winning streak to 11 games and lead the league averaging 83.6 points a game while Marquette (15-4, 6-2) is second at 78.2.
The long-time rivals tip at 7 p.m. (CT) and the game will be telecast by Comcast SportsNet Chicago Plus and also broadcast on the BIG EAST Digital Network which can be accessed at foxsportsgo.com. DePaul is coming off an 85-69 home win over Xavier where Brooke Schulte scored 28 points.
Last Monday, Schulte repeated as BIG EAST Player of the Week while Kelly Campbell was named Freshman of the Week. It was the third time this season Schulte was accorded that honor.
DePaul has won the last three BIG EAST regular-season titles and sports a 52-8 BIG EAST record in that span---winning the conference tournament in 2014 and 2015.
Coach Doug Bruno's team is second in the nation in assists, three-pointers and three-point attempts, No. 3 in assist/turnover ratio, No. 4 in three-pointers per game, No. 5 in assists per game, No. 6 in rebounds and No. 9 in scoring offense.
Campbell is No. 5 in the country in assist/turnover ratio and Schulte No. 22 in field goals. DePaul leads the BIG EAST in scoring offense, rebounding offense, scoring margin, assists, assist/turnover ratio, turnover margin, three-point field goals per game and offensive rebounds. In conference play, Schulte leads in scoring while Jacqui Grant is second defensive rebounds and blocks while Amarah Coleman is second in steals.
Marquette is coming off a 91-53 victory over Butler on Sunday when Allazia Blockton scored 20 points in its third-straight win.
