ANN ARBOR, Mich. - DePaul doubles opened the ITA Midwest Regional Championships with a pair of wins Friday at Michigan's Varsity Tennis Center.
Alex Galoustian and Conor O'Meara began their day with an 8-7(4) victory over the Michigan State team of Josh Mukjerjee and Billy Shisler.
Christopher Casati and Fran Tonejc followed up with their 8-4 triumph over Scott Christian and Brett Meyers of Marquette.
In the second round, Galoustian and O'Meara dropped an 8-4 decision to Ohio State's Matt Mendez and Hunter Tubert. Casati and Tonejc fell to Georg Lundkvist and Eric Marbach of Northern Illinois 8-4.
