DePaul Battles Georgetown on Senior Day Sunday

CHICAGO ââ'¬" The No. 19/18 Blue Demons conclude he regular season with a BIG EAST matchup against Georgetown on Senior Day Sunday when the program honors Meri Bennett-Swanson, Jacqui Grant, Jessica January and Brooke Schulte.

DePaul (23-6, 15-2) can clinch a fourth-straight BIG EAST regular-season title with a win.
The Blue Demons topped Villanova 77-50 on Friday, snapping a five-game Wildcat winning streak as BIG EAST Preseason Player of the Year January returned to the court after missing two months with a hand injury. The Blue Demons and Creighton are tied for first.
Coach Doug Bruno's team is fourth in the nation in assists, assist/turnover, three-pointers and three-point attempts, No. 5 in assists per game, No. 6 in three-pointers per game, No. 8 in rebounds and No. 9 in scoring offense. Kelly Campbell is No. 9 and Lauren Prochaska No. 16 in assist/turnover ratio and Schulte No. 18 in the country in field goals.
DePaul leads the BIG EAST for all games in scoring offense, scoring margin, rebounding offense, rebounding margin, offensive rebounds, assists, turnover margin, assist/turnover ratio and three-point field goals per game while Grant leads in blocked shots and Campbell is tops in assist/turnover ratio with Prochaska third.
In conference play, Schulte leads in scoring and is third in shooting percentage and fourth in offensive rebounds. Grant is first in blocks and second in overall rebounds and defensive rebounds while Prochaska leads the league in assist/turnover ratio and Amarah Coleman is third in steals.
DePaul and Creighton are 15-2 in the standings followed by Marquette (12-5) and Villanova (11-5).
Georgetown (17-10, 9-8) lost at Marquette 80-70 on Friday despite Dorothy Adomako's 21 points.
