FAU Spring Championship On Deck for Blue Demons

CHICAGO - The DePaul golf team wraps up its Spring Break trip with the FAU Spring Championship this weekend in Boca Raton, Fla. The Blue Demons are one of 19 teams competing at Osprey Point Golf Course with three rounds over three days starting Friday morning.
The first and second rounds on Friday and Saturday are scheduled for an 11:30 a.m. ET start. Host FAU welcomes DePaul along with Bethune-Cookman, Canisius, Connecticut, Florida Gulf Coast, Georgetown, Hartford, Hofstra, Houston Baptist, Jacksonville State, Lynn, Manhattan, Monmouth, Morehead State, Murray State, North Dakota State, Oakland and Stetson.
DePaul will have all nine members of the roster competing this weekend with Garret Buckley, Joe McCarthy, Charlie Spencer-White, Freddy Thomas and Kyle Vincze make up the Blue Demon lineup while Perry Chong, Carlo Antonio Gatmaytan, Ronnie Griggs and Bobby Thomas are playing as individuals.
Osprey Point GC is a par 72 layout over 6,786 yards. A year ago, the Blue Demons finished seventh out of 13 teams at the event with Buckley finishing in a tie for 13th place to lead to team. Live scoring will be available on GolfStat throughout the tournament.
