Women's tennis matches up against pair of BIG EAST opponents at Lakeshore Sport & Fitness
CHICAGO – Nobody is more ready for a big bounce-back weekend than DePaul coach Mark Ardizzone and his women's tennis team.
What better time to get your game back in sync than Saturday and Sunday when the Blue Demons play their first two BIG EAST Conference matches.
And they will have all the comforts of their home court, Lakeshore Sport & Fitness, when they tangle with Georgetown on Saturday and Butler 24 hours later.
Ardizzone has cultivated a proud and traditionally successful program that maximizes its resources and can compete with the proven winners of intercollegiate tennis.
The Blue Demons have won the BIG EAST title three times in the last five years, earning an NCAA tournament berth with each conference crown.
That includes a run to the NCAA Second Round in 2015.
Georgetown comes into Lakeshore Sport & Fitness after losing its dual-season opener 6-1 against Army last week. The Hoyas will play at Butler on Friday.
Butler has dropped its first two matches of the dual season, 7-0 at Cincinnati and 6-0 at Purdue.
