Blue Demons and Chippewas set for 7 p.m. game at Wintrust Arena
CHICAGO - The Blue Demons look for their seventh straight win to open the 2019-20 season as the Central Michigan Chippewas visit on Tuesday night. The game is the second half of a DePaul basketball doubleheader at Wintrust Arena with the women's team hosting Milwaukee. Start time for the men's game is 7 p.m.

Tuesday's game can be seen on FS1 with Mike Monaco (play-by-play) and Stephen Bardo (analyst) handling the broadcast duties. The game can be seen online through the FOX Sports app and website. Kobe Elvis Signs for Next Season: Kobe Elvis completed the necessary paperwork during the November signing period and joins the program starting in the 2020-21 season. Elvis is a 6-2 guard from Brampton, Ontario, that is ranked among the top players in Canada.

Elvis is averaging 23.2 points, 5.0 assists and 4.4 rebounds per game in his first five games of the season at Bill Crothers Prep. He turned in a 30-point game on Nov. 19 and scored 29 points in his last game on Nov. 20.

A season ago, Elvis was named the Ontario Scholastic Basketball Association (OSBA) Player of the Year after averaging 28.0 points and 4.7 assists per game at Southwest Academy. He led the OSBA in scoring while shooting over .500 from the field .350 from three-point range. The OSBA features some of the top players in Canada including recent NBA draft picks Ignas Brazdeikis and Thon Maker. Both players were named OSBA MVP before Elvis earned the honor in 2019.

Elvis put together a strong summer that saw him named the Most Outstanding Player at the 17U Under Armour Rise Championship Bracket and All-UA Rise First Team. Elvis played on the UA circuit with the Northern Kings. He also played for UPLAY Canada in the Nike EYBL and averaged 14.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.2 assists in four games.

- Nov. 11: Moore averaged 19.3 points, 5.0 assists and 2.3 rebounds in the three games against Alcorn State, Chicago and Fairleigh Dickinson during the first week of the season. The Chicago native shot .606 (20-33) from the field overall including a .571 (8-14) mark from three-point range in DePaul's three victories. He also knocked down 10-of-11 attempts at the free throw line.
- Nov. 18: Weems nearly posted a pair of double-doubles in games against Iowa and Cornell while averaging 9.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.5 blocked shots. The Detroit native shot .467 (7-15) from the field and went 2-of-4 from three-point range.
- Nov. 18: Reed continued his torrid start to the season with his third and fourth double-doubles against the Hawkeyes and Big Red. The junior forward averaged 21.5 points, 12.0 rebounds, 3.0 blocked shots, 3.0 steals and 2.0 assists per game during the week while shooting .731 (19-26) from the field.
- Nov. 25: Weems posted his first double-double with career highs of 17 points and 11 rebounds against the Eagles. He added three steals and two assists while knocking down a pair of three-pointers in just over 35 minutes of action.
- Nov. 25: Moore led DePaul with 24 points, eight assists and four rebounds in the 72-67 win at Boston College to pick up his second weekly honor. He sealed the win for the Blue Demons with two three-pointers and two free throws in the final 1:16 of the game. Moore finished the game 7-for-7 at the free throw line and tied his career high with the eight assists.
