A Pair of Road Matches for Women's Tennis This Weekend

Blue Demons take on Michigan State on Friday and Cleveland State on Saturday
CHICAGO – Coach Mark Ardizzone and his women's tennis team continue their demanding dual-match season with two more road challenges this weekend.
DePaul (4-7) opens up on Friday against the Big Ten's Michigan State in East Lansing, Mich. and then head to Cleveland on Saturday for an afternoon match against Cleveland State.
Senior Keisha Clousing has led the Blue Demons during the dual season with a 7-4 singles record and some impressive wins in the No. 1 spot against top-ranked opponents.
Maddie Yergler was named BIG EAST Athlete of the Week for women's tennis on Tuesday after going 3-0 in singles and doubles last weekend.
Clousing, Yergler and Marija Jovicic have each won their last two singles matches.
Lenka Antonijevic and Clousing have won a team-leading five doubles matches in the dual season while the Milica Tesic/Yergler tandem is 2-0 in doubles.
Michigan State is off to an 8-4 start and has won its last three matches (Wright State, Marquette, Dartmouth) after falling to No. 44 Notre Dame. The Spartans are 5-0 at the MSU Outdoor Tennis Courts.
Cleveland State is 3-5 in dual matches but 3-0 on its home court at the Medical Mutual Tennis Pavilion. The Vikings had lost five in a row before winning their last two matches against Binghamton and Case Western Reserve.
