Blue Demons ready to bounce back versus Kansas State on Saturday

IOWA CITY, Iowa – The Blue Demons gave it their best shot on Friday against a Power Five conference opponent, but it wasn't enough.

Despite Yuliya Kizelbasheva's success at No. 3 singles, DePaul lost 6-1 at Iowa.

KIzelbasheva scored her team's lone point with a hard-fought 7-5, 3-6, 10-8 win over the Hawkeyes' Michelle Bacalla.

The home team prevailed in the other five singles matches and recorded the doubles point.

DePaul will look to bounce back on Saturday against another Power Five opponent in Kansas State on the Hawkeyes' home court.
