Providence announced pause in team activities due to COVID-19 issues

CHICAGO – The BIG EAST announced on Tuesday afternoon that No. 19/22 DePaul's women's basketball conference game against Providence on Jan. 23 at Wintrust Arena has been postponed.

Providence announced a pause in team activities due to COVID-19 issues within the program. No makeup date has been announced.

Additionally, out of an abundance of caution, Wednesday's Seton Hall at No. 4/5 Connecticut game has been postponed. UConn faced Providence last Saturday.

Earlier today, DePaul's Jan. 20 game at Villanova was postponed after Villanova announced a pause in team activities due to COVID-19 issues within the program.

The Blue Demons' next scheduled game is 5:30 p.m. Wednesday against St. John's at Wintrust Arena that will be nationally televised on FS1.
