Blue Demons search for first win of 2021
CHICAGO - DePaul men's soccer welcomes the St. Thomas Tommies to Wish Field on Thursday, Sept. 2. First touch is scheduled for 3 p.m. in Lincoln Park and will be broadcast on FloSports. St. Thomas is in their first season of competition within the NCAA's Division I.
DePaul's Jack Richards scored the lone goal last week in the Blue Demons' season opener at Wish Field. Richards' goal tied the game at one before Loyola was able to pull ahead and hold off DePaul to win 2-1. Richards' goal gave him three-straight scoring performances dating back to the end of last season.
DePaul's matchup with St. Thomas will be the first ever between the schools. St. Thomas moved from Division III to Division I to kick off this year's athletic seasons. St. Thomas has dropped back-to-back games to begin the 2021 season.
After Thursday's match in Lincoln Park, DePaul will travel north to Madison, Wis. to face the Wisconsin Badgers on Sunday at 3 p.m. The Blue Demons return to Wish Field on Wednesday, Sept. 15 to host UIC in a battle between Chicago schools.
