Blue Demons ready for final match of the 2022 season at Wish Field
CHICAGO -Â DePaul men's soccer caps off the 2022 season with the Senior Day celebration on Wednesday at Wish Field prior to the matchup against Villanova. The ceremony is set to begin at 12:45 p.m. with first touch following at 1 p.m. CT. The match can be streamed on the Big East Digital Network on FloSports.Â
DePaul (4-6-6, 1-4-4 BIG EAST) is looking to finish their season strong after dropping their last match to Creighton on Saturday, Oct. 29.Â
Villanova (6-8-2, 2-6-1 BIG EAST) currently sit at 10th in the BIG EAST standings. The Wildcats last match came on Tuesday, Oct. 25 when they defeated the United States Naval Academy 1-0. Villanova fell in their last conference matchup 2-1 to the Seton Hall Pirates on Oct. 22.
This will be the 18th meeting between the Blue Demons and the Wildcats, with Villanova leading the series 9-5-3.
