Women's Tennis Headed to the Hoosier State

DePaul takes on Butler on Friday and Purdue on Sunday
CHICAGO – The Blue Demons are headed to the border to spend the weekend in the Hoosier State taking on Butler on Friday and Purdue on Sunday.
In Indianapolis, coach Marisa Arce's team will encounter a Bulldogs squad that has struggled to a 1-6 start in the dual-match season.
DePaul is 2-3 with wins over Bradley and Northern Illinois while coming up short against Army West Point, Wisconsin and Michigan State.
Butler beat Milwaukee and lost to Miami (Ohio), Cincinnati, Ball State, Dayton, Indiana and Indianapolis.
Yuliya Kizelbasheva and freshman Eleanor Nobbs have excelled in singles play. Kizelbasheva is undefeated in the dual season at 4-0 and carries an 11-7 overall record.
Nobbs went 8-4 in the tournament season and is 10-7 overall.
Kizelbasheva teams with Lenka Antonijevic as the top doubles tandem with a 12-5 overall mark and 3-1 in dual competition.
They will face a talented Purdue team Sunday in West Lafayette, Ind. The Boilermakers are 5-2 in the dual season with successful results against Cincinnati, IUPUI, Xavier, Bowling Green and Saint Louis. They lost to Notre Dame and Iowa State.
