Blue Demons fall in Saturday's game one

SAN DIEGO, Calif. — DePaul couldn't quite get the bats going in a 10-0 loss to Oregon State on Saturday morning at the Torero Classic. The Beavers totaled 14 hits while the Blue Demons could muster only two in five innings of action. Skylor Hilger and Brooke Johnson we're responsible for the pair of base knocks. Oregon State took a 3-0 lead after the first on three hits and a DePaul error. The Beavers added six runs on seven hits in the top half of the third to widen their lead to 9-0 before a solo shot to left in the top of the fourth put the Beavers in front 10-0. Sarah Lehman fell to 2-2 in the circle in the setback. DePaul will close out completion at the Torero Classic against South Dakota State at approximately 1:30 p.m. (CT).
