Blue Demons Finish off Busy Weekend with Long Beach Invitational

DePaul competed at three meets over two days
LONG BEACH, Calif. - DePaul Track and Field officially closed out its weekend on the West Coast on Saturday. Jarel Terry's podium finish in the 400m was a focal point for the team's performance at the Long Beach Invitational. The Blue Demons return to Chicago after competing at the Mt SAC Relays, the Bryan Clay Invitational and at Long Beach.
In the field, Casey Mulvey posted a 13.91m throw in the women's shot put. Meanwhile, Tori Carroll jumped for 6.13m in the long jump to snatch fifth place. On the track, Kiersten Walker took fourth in the 400m with a time of 54.90. Tori Carroll, Esther Aldana and Jetta Mays made their season debuts in the 100m dash.
For the men, Darius Brown and Myles Marshall ran in the 110m hurdles, posting times of 14.28 and 14.73, respectively. In the 100m Dominic Cole ran for a 10.78 while Cameron Attucks finished with a 10.86. To finish off the evening, Grant Fuller ran at a time of 58.32 in the 400m.
The Blue Demons will be back in action April 22nd and 23rd at the Gibson Invitational in Terre Haute, Indiana.
