BIG EAST Women’s Basketball Schedule Unveiled

Blue Demons open on Sunday, Dec. 4 at Butler
CHICAGO – The BIG EAST announced the 2022-23 women's basketball schedule on Monday afternoon and the Blue Demons will begin the conference campaign on Dec. 4 at Butler.
The double round-robin schedule will see DePaul compete home and away with all 10 peer institutions. The 2022-23 television slate will see the Blue Demons Featured on FOX on Dec. 31 vs. Creighton and Feb. 25 vs. Connecticut while FS1 will carry the Dec. 21 non-conference matchup against Louisville and the regular-season finale at Marquette on Feb. 27. The BIG EAST Digital Network on FloSports will carry the remainder of the conference matchups.
After seven non-conference matchups in November including the Elevance Health Fort Myers Tip-Off, DePaul will travel to Hinkle Fieldhouse for a visit with the Bulldogs to kick off league play on Dec. 4.
The Blue Demons will step out of conference action to face Loyola, Northwestern and Howard before Georgetown visits Wintrust Arena Dec. 18 for the BIG EAST home opener.
A marquee matchup against Louisville on national television Dec. 21 will mark the final non-conference play date before the squad breaks for the Christmas holiday.
Coach Doug Bruno and his squad will begin a stretch of three home games at Wintrust Arena with Providence (Dec. 28), Creighton (Dec. 31) and Marquette (Jan. 4) visiting the South Loop.
DePaul will hit the road to Connecticut and Gampel Pavilion on Sunday, Jan. 8 before returning home to host Villanova on Jan. 11.
A two-game road swing will see the Blue Demons visit Xavier on Jan. 14 and Georgetown on Jan. 18. before closing out the month of January at home versus St. John's on Jan. 21 and on the road in South Orange, N.J. against Seton Hall on Jan. 28.
The month of February will see the Blue Demons play five road games and host four matchups at Wintrust Arena. DePaul will visit D.J. Sokol Arena to take on Creighton on Feb. 1 before welcoming Xavier (Feb. 4) and Butler (Feb. 8) to Chicago.
DePaul will travel to St. John's on Feb. 11 with Seton Hall making a return trip to the South Loop on Feb. 15. The final East Coast road swing of the season will see the Blue Demons play at Providence Feb. 18 and face Villanova at Finneran Pavilion on Feb. 21.
Connecticut will descend upon Wintrust Arena Feb. 25 on the final Saturday of the regular season for a 1:30 p.m. tip-off on FOX. Two days later, the Blue Demons will make the short trek to Milwaukee to square off against longtime rival Maruqette on Feb. 27 on FS1.
The 2023 BIG EAST Tournament returns to Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn. March 3-6.
The Blue Demons previously announced non-conference schedule features American (Nov. 9), Northern Illinois (Nov. 12), Cleveland State (Nov. 15), Miami (Nov. 20), Maryland (Nov. 25), Pitt. (Nov. 26), Towson (Nov. 27), Loyola Chicago (Dec. 7), Northwestern (Dec. 10), Howard (Dec. 10) and Louisville (Dec. 21).
