DePaul Dominates Day One of the USTA Futures in Albuquerque

Blue Demons Go Three for Three

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- On Monday, September 26, Marino Jakic, Aleksa Krivokapic and Matteo Iaquinto went three for three on day one of the USTA Futures tournament in New Mexico.

Krivokapic started off the day with a match versus Chetan B Desai. The newcomer defeated his opponent 6-0, 6-0.

Iaquinto also achieved a victory, after beating his opponent in a tiebreaker, 6-4, 7-6(8-6). To end the day, Jakic won his first match of the competition, 6-4, 6-3.

Tomorrow, qualifying matches will begin at 10 a.m. If the Blue Demons continue to dominate, they will go into the main draw on Wednesday.
