Aneesah Morrow Earns Sixth BIG EAST Honor Roll Mention

Sophomore leads Blue Demons to 1-1 week with pair of double-doubles
NEW YORK – DePaul's Aneesah Morrow landed on the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll for the sixth time this season after guiding the Blue Demons to a 1-1 mark last week including a 35-point win over Xavier on Sunday.
Morrow pushed her double-double tally to 14 on the season with a pair of all-around performances. In a dropped decision to No. 25 Villanova on Wednesday, the sophomore finished with a team-high 28 points and 11 rebounds to go with two blocks, two steals and two assists. In Sunday's bounce back rout of the Musketeers, Morrow netted 15 points and grabbed 11 rebounds while dishing out a career-high five assists.
For the week, the Chicago native finished third in the BIG EAST in scoring and tied for the league lead in rebounds.
Morrow is averaging 25.6 points per game which ranks fourth nationally while collecting 11.9 rebounds per game to land in fifth among Division I players. Her 14 double-doubles is good for third nationally.
DePaul (11-7, 4-3) readies for a stretch of three games in six days beginning with a trip to Georgetown on Wednesday, Jan. 18 for a 6 p.m. CT. tipoff inside McDonough Arena.
